Accessible transportation services assist people who would otherwise use the public transportation system, but are prevented from doing so due to disability. A citizen’s advisory committee, the Elderly and Disabled Transportation Advisory Committee (E&D TAC) focuses on issues related to accessible transportation and advises the RTC on related topics.

Santa Cruz Metro offers ADA paratransit shared ride service to people with disabilities as well as personalized instruction through its mobility training program on how to ride the bus for older adults and people with disabilities.
